Summary
The constant churning of fodder in the NFL has left us with one starting MVP Super Bowl winning quarterback from the past generation. Aaron Rodgers. While he looks refreshed and more enthusiastic with a fresh start, we can only ponder how long he will remain in the league. However long Rodgers decides to stay in the league, it is hard to count any team he plays for making the playoffs.

The Jets are in a tough spot with two or three playoff contenders in their division. It is still quite possible the Jets will make the playoffs based on the additions they made. Rodgers looks reinvigorated and full of enthusiasm compared to his last seasons with Green Bay. We can speculate his tenure soured when the Packers drafted a quarterback round one instead of adding wide receiver depth in 2020.
The Jets have a decent receiving core bolstered by Rodgers' former teammate Lazard. However, adding an elite household name wide receiver would certainly boost the odds of pushing themselves into the playoffs, but the late addition of Dalvin Cook and his catching abilities, will give Rodgers another valuable target.
With the season starting soon, we can only wait and see how the Jets will mesh with the roster shake-up. Although the Jets have a tough schedule, the Jets could certainly improve on their 7-10 2022 season and conservatively end up 10-7 or 11-6 with Rodgers elite game management skills.
