Patriot Rage vs. Cheap USB Sticks: Is It That Much Faster?
USB Drives
Summary

USB stick showdown! Does the Patriot Supersonic Rage Elite perform as advertised? And how does it stand up against cheaper USB drives?

As PC users, we have had our fair share of slow USB sticks and wanted to see if a "high speed" USB stick can live up to the claimed speeds. Today, we will see if the claims are true of the Patriot Supersonic Rage Elite 128GB. The Patriot will be tested against low-cost USB sticks for comparison.

Test Machine:

  • Intel i9 10850k

Results

If you're looking for speed, the Patriot Supersonic Rage Elite offered above-advertised speed, during our test, and is certainly fast. As far as the cheaper USB drives go, our results showed the Sandisk Ultra Flair having good performance. The others are...functional.
